Transnet is accepting applications for Non-Technical Work Integrated Learnership programme.

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience to apply academic knowledge in a real-world environment. The programme enhances employability by offering structured training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Task Execution: Assist in projects, operational tasks, and administrative functions.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in workshops, mentorship, and problem-solving activities.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, prepare reports, and support process improvements.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Matric certificate / equivalent.
  • Completed all theoretical subjects for a Diploma (University of Technology) in:
    • Information Technology
    • Business Administration
    • Supply Chain Management
  • South African citizenship.
  • Age: 18 – 35 years.
  • Preference will be given to People with Disabilities.
  • No bursary obligation with another company.
  • Submit certified copies of Matric certificate, Academic record, and ID.
