AgriSETA is recruiting and accepting applications for Accounts Payables Officer vacancy.

  • DURATION: PERMANENT
  • SALARY SCALE: PATERSON C2 (R381 216.17 – R461 271.56 Per annum)
  • Ref: AgriS0201/2025

Purpose: To assist in the expenditure management of AgriSETA.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

LIABILITY MANAGEMENT:

  • Manage inflow of invoices
  • Receive all invoices due for payment
  • Prepare payment requests
  • Maintain monthly accrual list
  • Maintain age analysis
  • Manage supplier Masterfile

EXPENDITURE:

  • Capture invoices on accounting system
  • Report queries and follow up
  • Receive all payment queries and resolve them
  • Filing of payment packs

ADMINISTRATION:

  • Manage Finance meetings
  • Manage invoice register

CASH MANAGEMENT:

  • Capture all petty cash transactions on the accounting system

MANAGEMENT OF FRUITLESS, WASTEFUL AND IRREGULAR EXPENDITURE:

  • Report Identified fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure to Assistant Manager Expenditure.

MORE OPPORTUNITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BCom degree NQF level 7 in Accounting/Finance or Equivalent.
  • 3 years’ experience in a finance environment.

  • Trustworthy

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Strong knowledge of GRAP, PFMA, PFMA Regulations and Norms and Standards issued by National Treasury
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft 365 Package
