About African Rainbow Minerals Bursary

African Rainbow Minerals is currently accepting applications for 2025 academic year bursaries.

Bursaries will be awarded for Undergraduate to Honours studies, at the following universities:

  • North West University
  • Stellenbosch University
  • University of Pretoria
  • University of Cape Town

The African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) Bursary aims to attract talented students who are committed to their studies and wish to grow with the company. Through the bursary programme, the company strives to make a valuable contribution to the skills development within the country, as well as to enrich the host community.

MORE OPPORTUNITIES:

The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses, for the entire duration of the course of study: registration fees, tuition fees, textbooks, laptop, accommodation in university residence and meals.

Candidates will be required to attend a panel interview and partake in psychometric assessments before final selection is made.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying at one of the universities listed above (UCT, UP, SU, NWU), within one of the fields of study listed above
  • You must have completed your first year of study
  • You must be entering your 2nd or higher year of study, up to Honours level, in 2025
  • You must have a strong academic record
  • You must NOT be currently receiving any other bursary funding
