AMSOL is currently accepting applications for Diver Trainee Programme.

Description

Underwater inspection, repair and maintenance of the SPM and CBM, Underwater Hoses and Pipeline.
Carry out diving duties in accordance with the company, client and contract requirements.
Participate in the creation and maintenance of diving procedures and HIRAs.
Submit reports, registers and logs accurately and timeously.
Maintain good communication with diving operation management.
Partake in tanker operations at the SPM, CBM and MBM including mooring, cargo discharge and unmooring activities

Minimum requirements

Qualified as a South African Class II Offshore Air Diver (or IMCA recognised equivalent).
Hold a valid diving medical certificate.
Hold a valid drivers’ license.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel).
Self-motivated individual who displays excellent initiative and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to work independently and within a larger team environment; and
Must be prepared to work irregular hours.
Must be a resident in Mossel Bay.
