About ATNS Bursary
Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) is offering 30 bursary opportunities, 24x Air Traffic Services Officer (ATSO), 4x Aeronautical Information Management Officer (AIMO) & 2x Target Generating Officer (TGO) for Air Traffic Services students to train towards a career in air traffic management.
The placement of students in the various streams will be in line with the operational requirements of the organisation. The programme provides each bursar with an opportunity to conduct their studies at the Aviation Training Academy (ATA) in Bonaero Park, Gauteng.

Minimum requirements
- Matric certificate with a pass in the following subjects: Pure Mathematics (Level 4 / HG – D or SG C or above) and English (Level 4 / HG – D or SG C or above)
- South African citizen with a valid Identity Document
- Medically fit and willing to undergo our medical assessment for the ATSO stream
- Attach Grade 12 results to your application
- Be willing to relocate anywhere in the country
- Unemployed South African Youth
- Applicants who previously were on a similar programme with ATNS will not be considered
