Contact Centre Consultant

Purpose: To deliver world class service to all Discovery Health Members, Providers, Employer groups, and Brokers by supporting and fully resolving their queries through various channels, primarily over the telephone.

Key outputs

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

  • Servicing all key stakeholders telephonically and via other servicing channels as required until the query has been resolved.
  • Servicing our members in a customer centric way to ensure that we live by our service principles.
  • Keeping up to date with product changes to ensure that all key stakeholders are accurately serviced.
  • Continuously staying abreast of all digital servicing tools within the business and ensuring that the functionality is fully understood.

Marketing Consultant

Purpose: The Marketing Consultant is a member of a high-performance marketing team that builds the Discovery Bank brand, and partners with the Discovery Bank business to implement marketing solutions to meet the Bank’s business objectives.  

The Marketing Consultant will be responsible for running projects, using marketing best practice and leveraging internal and agency relationships, to deliver marketing campaigns within budget. In addition, the Marketing Consultant will be responsible for managing client engagement initiatives, collaborating with partners, and ensuring seamless project execution across multiple stakeholders.

Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to:

  • Being creative. Solve business needs, create integrated, best practice and creative solutions that are in line with the Discovery marketing model and are consistent across all brands, businesses, and communities, and ensuring that consistent, relevant messages are being given.
  • Client engagement: Develop and execute client engagement strategies that enhance client relationships, drive loyalty, and increase client satisfaction.
  • Working across teams. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including senior businesspeople and cross-departmental teams, to help achieve company and business unit objectives.
  • Building relationships. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key businesspeople, both at a strategic and operational level.
  • Content creation: Create and update relevant communication collateral, including app screens, social media, website content, and more.
  • Technical communication: Convert complex technical information into clear, audience-appropriate communication.
  • Contributing to the creation of intuitive, informative user journeys across all digital platforms that allow for easy navigation and enhance the Discovery Bank brand experience. 
  • Working closely with the Discovery Bank teams to ensure a consistent, client centric experience.   

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-year undergraduate degree or diploma (BA or B.Com in Marketing or Communications)

Marketing Manager

Purpose: The marketing manager for this Vitality portfolio is responsible all elements that fall under Wellness and Vitality Active Rewards for Vitality. The marketing manager combines strategic thinking with leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities to meet the objectives of the business.

This marketing manager oversees the day-to-day marketing and management of elements, playing a key role in coordinating, planning and collaborating with various internal, external, marketing, business and project teams to deliver high-quality on all objectives set out by marketing and the business at large.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:

  • Driving and defining the implementation of brand and communication strategy and solutions.
  • Interfacing with senior business people to define and co-ordinate brand or communication strategy.
  • Understanding the impact of that strategy across business.
  • Unpack complex business needs and provide creative solutions that are strategically sound, creative and relevant to the market
  • Turn strategies into executional ideas that are realistic, impactful and memorable
  • Develop people through coaching
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business people, both at a strategic and operational level
  • The role requires the management of a variety of projects at one time, which is on-going throughout the year and the ability to multi-task on projects

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 year undergraduate
  • Post graduate qualification in marketing is preferable
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications
  • Must have managed at least one person for at least 2 years
