The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities (DWYPD) invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme for 2025–2027. Successful candidates will be appointed for a 24-month internship contract at the Department’s head office in Pretoria.
The programme provides practical work experience aligned to academic qualifications, aimed at equipping graduates with workplace readiness skills. The Department is committed to advancing socio-economic transformation, empowering women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R7 860.

General Application Guidelines
- Applications must be submitted using the new Z83 form and a detailed CV.
- No copies of qualifications or supporting documents are required at the application stage.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit certified documents.
- Applicants must be unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme in government or parastatals.
- Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by a SAQA evaluation certificate (only if shortlisted).
