Summary:

  • To process financial transactions, perform administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations
  • Basic accounting and admin knowledge is essential
  • Position will be for 3 months fixed term contract

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Accounting
  • Bookkeeping Certificate
  • 2 – 3 years relevant experience
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and SAP) is essential
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels
  • Be a team player
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing of supplier invoices and other supplier transactions daily
  • Processing of cash book transactions, allocating of customer and supplier payments
  • Assisting debtors with FI credits and debits daily
  • Reconciling of general ledger, creditors, and intercompany accounts
  • Perform ad-hoc general accounting and administrative duties
