What is the Community Development Worker Learnership?
This learnership is a comprehensive program that blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on, practical experience. You will learn to identify and address social and economic challenges at a grassroots level, empowering you to become a true agent of change. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 4 Certificate in Community Development Work. This valuable qualification opens doors to careers in local government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and various public service sectors.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
This opportunity is for you if you meet the following requirements:
- Education: You must have completed Grade 11 or a higher grade.
- Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
- Residency: You must be a resident of one of the following wards in Hammanskraal:
- Ward 73
- Ward 74
- Ward 49
- Ward 08
- Training Status: You must not currently be enrolled in any other SETA or industry-funded training program.
