getWorth is recruiting and accepting applications for HR Assistant vacancy.
As an HR Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the HR function with a strong focus on recruitment, while also contributing to other key HR activities.
You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle posting job ads, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews ensuring that our talent acquisition processes run efficiently. Alongside recruitment, you’ll be involved in employee engagement initiatives, onboarding new hires, and providing vital HR administrative support.
This role requires someone detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. If you’re passionate about people, recruitment, and contributing to a positive workplace culture, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment function: posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and providing feedback to applicants and hiring teams.
- Support the induction process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.
- Coordinate and assist with training and development initiatives across the company.
- Help drive continuous employee engagement activities, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Maintain an understanding of HR disciplinary processes and assist with related documentation.
- Handle all HR-related administrative duties and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and filing of employee documents, both electronically and physically.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external HR queries, providing timely and professional assistance.
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate with a relevant tertiary qualification (completed or in progress).
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an HR or related role (advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (Afrikaans proficiency is an added advantage).
- Strong administrative skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable with computer-based work and HR software.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Own transport is essential.
- No criminal record.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00
