KPMG invites suitable qualifying candidates to apply for the Digital Consulting Graduate Programme.
The Digital Consulting graduate program represents a significant opportunity for forward-thinking, passionate individuals looking for a vibrant, challenging, and rewarding environment in which to develop their skill sets.
Key Responsibilities and Exposure:
The successful candidate will gain exposure to all aspects and phases of the project lifecycle, from strategy through to design and implementation, across the Digital Consulting services suite (including Technology, Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, and People and Change).
The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced consultants in teams to deliver client-facing engagements. This may involve:
- Assisting in executing the project scope, including the use of relevant and innovative software/technology tools.
- Brainstorming ideas and solutions with team members.
- Identifying areas for improvement and creating solutions to streamline the client’s service delivery, organizational structures, ways of working, technology, governance and control, performance data and insights, processes, and procedures.
- Researching and collecting evidence, including information required to stress-test the client’s perspectives on the reasons for their challenges.
- Assisting with project control, including initiation, tracking, reporting, risk management, and budget analysis.
- Liaising with personnel at all levels of the client organization, including hosting client interviews, meetings, and workshops.
- Creating and presenting client deliverables, such as data models, reports, and presentations.
Qualifications Required (Undergraduate/Honours/Masters):
Candidates should be in their final year of undergraduate/honours or pursuing a master’s degree in fields with business and technical competencies, including:
- BBus Sci (Accounting/Finance/Economics/ISTN/ComSci, etc.)
- Engineering degrees (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, and Information)
- BCom (Mathematics/Accounting/Finance/Economics/ISTN/ComSci, etc.)
- BSc in Mathematical Sciences/Mathematics/Economics/Informatics/Statistics
- BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering (with IT/IS modules)
Requirements:
- Minimum 65% academic average throughout all years of study.
Critical skills, attributes, and capabilities of potential candidates include:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-native English speakers and individuals at all levels of seniority, especially online or via phone.
- Strong relationship-building skills, regardless of the person’s level.
- Interest in and understanding of innovation and emerging technologies.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with an open-minded and inquisitive nature.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Enthusiasm, confidence, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
