About Macmillan Foundation Bursary

Macmillan Foundation is currently accepting applications for 2026 academic year bursaries.

Bursaries will be awarded to Black female students, for Postgraduate Architecture Degree studies.

Through the bursary programme, the foundation aims to assist previously disadvantaged women, with strong academic merit but lacking financial means, to further their studies within the Architecture field.

The bursary will be awarded for 1 year of study.

MORE OPPORTUNITIES:

Payments will be made directly into the account of the students academic institution, after the submission of proof of registration and the academic Tax Invoice.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be Black (as defined in RSA B-BBEE Codes)
  • You must be female
  • You must be studying or intend on studying towards a Postgraduate Degree in Architecture
  • You must be studying at an accredited university in South Africa
  • You must be able to complete your Degree before turning 35 years old
  • You must have a strong academic record
  • You must have no previous criminal record
