The Human Resources (HR) Intern will support the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks, gaining valuable experience in recruitment, employee relations, training, and development. This role is ideal for a recent graduate interested in pursuing a career in HR. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with HR professionals and contribute to the smooth running of HR functions within the organisation.
Requirements
- Recently completed a Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Psychology.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of HR principles, labour laws, and employment regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem -solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Positive Attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach.

Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will provide the following duties to both the organisation and its clients.
- Assist in posting job advertisements on various platforms and managing incoming applications.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial candidate assessments, and coordinate interviews.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR databases.
- Assist in organising and scheduling employee meetings, including performance reviews and training sessions.
- Help manage employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR staff.
- Support the development and distribution of internal communications, such as newsletters and policy updates.
- Help create training materials, presentations, and other resources.
- Monitor and track employee participation in training programs and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Assist with maintaining and updating employee records, including personal information, benefits, and attendance.
