Syngenta Seeds Regulatory Internships

Syngenta is currently accepting applications for the Seeds Regulatory Internship programme.

Role purpose: To provide general support to the South African Traits Regulatory and Product Safety (TRPS) team and assist with the effective day-to-day responsibilities relating to the seeds regulatory environment, such as regulatory submissions, field trials, data capturing, and other adhoc administrative tasks as required.

Accountabilities

  • Support TRPS Manager in development of regulatory dossiers and related permit applications
  • Support the GM regulatory field trial activities and data collection. 
  • Control business critical documentation, data capturing and validation in the appropriate information databases/systems/tools e.g. Veeva and Reliance 
  • Assist with a wide range of projects as and when required 
  • Perform other general administrative tasks

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Degree or Diploma Agricultural/ Biological/Agronomy
  • Seeds Regulatory knowledge will be advantage
  • Agronomic and field trial knowledge is desirable
  • Entomology knowledge is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with a range of cultures across a multi-functional business
  • Drivers license 
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience advantageous
