Anglo American Teacher Development Programme
Sishen Mine, in partnership with Kumba Iron Ore, invites individuals from Ga-Segonyana, Gamagara, Joe Morolong, Kgatelopele, Tsantsabane, and Griekwastad Municipalities to apply for the Teacher Development Programme for 2026. This initiative supports aspiring educators to pursue their teaching qualifications through distance learning at North-West University (NWU).
Anglo American calls on the following groups:
- Grade 12 learners (Class of 2025) from the eligible municipalities interested in studying teaching at NWU
- Teacher Assistants with an Admission Point (AP) score of 26–30
- ECD Practitioners (Early Childhood Development) who wish to upskill via NWU’s distance learning
Applicants must submit:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Identity Document (ID)
- Grade 12 certificate or June 2025 results
- Proof of any other qualifications
- Proof of residence
