COJ Finance Internship

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Transport Department has the following Internship opportunity available for a period NOT exceeding eighteen 18 months.

Remuneration:

  • Qualification completed with min 360 credits: R9 531,54 pm
  • Enrolled as a student: R3 500,00 pm

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus Diploma in Accounting / Finance or NQF level 6 related qualification.
  • Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.

Key Learning Areas:

  • Assist the revenue that the cash sales processed at Rea Vata stations are property accounted for;
  • Assist the revenue officer to ensure that the cash is property banked, and all bank transaction are accounted;
  • Assist the revenue officer to ensure timely reporting of accounting information;
  • Assist the revenue officer to ensure that inventory is managed properly following the City policies and regulations;
  • Assist in compiling and audit file.
