About Globeleq Bursary
Globeleq is currently accepting applications for 2025 academic year bursaries.
Bursary opportunities are available for:
Students that will be studying full-time towards either of the following qualifications:
- N3 – N6 Electrical/Mechanical
- National diplomas or BTech degrees in mechatronic /electrical/mechanical engineering (applications open nationally).
- B.Eng/BSc Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic (applications open nationally).
What a GSF Bursary Covers:
- Registration fees
- Tuition/ academic fees
- Accommodation & Meals
- Books/ stationary
- Other necessary academic support (if approved by GSF Committee)

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be:
- South African citizens
- Have an interest in renewable energy
- Preference will be given to students doing their 2nd year (or higher) of study in 2025, (This will not affect students doing any bridging courses or extended programmes)
- May be studying for any field/topic at a DHET/SAQA-recognized tertiary school/university.
- Unemployed (not working full or part-time in 2025), and must not have worked full-time before 2025.
- Have applied to study in 2025 or have already been accepted for registration in 2025.
Students that must be studying full-time (2025 onwards) towards either of the following qualifications:
- N3 – N6 Electrical/Mechanical
- National diplomas or BTech degrees in mechatronic /electrical/mechanical engineering (applications open nationally).
- B.Eng/BSc Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic (applications open nationally).
