About KPMG Bursary
KPMG is accepting applications for 2025 academic year bursaries. Bursary applications open every year between 15 September and 30 October.
REQUIREMENTS:
The minimum requirements for bursaries are as follows:
- You must be studying a SAICA recognised degree and studying full time.
- You must be completing your degree in the minimum number of years, i.e. you may not split a 1 year course over 2 years.

You must achieve the following results in each academic year:
- Grade 12: Proof of registration studying towards Bcom CA(SA) qualification and 4 distinctions including Life Orientation.
- First year requirements: 65% Average and 70% Accounting
- Second year requirements: 65% Average and 65% Accounting
- Third year requirements: 60% Average and 60% Accounting
How to apply
To apply for a KPMG Bursary you have to first apply for a training contract. visit KPMG bursaries portal to apply for a training contract.
Bursary contracts are subject to you entering into a learnership (training contract) with KPMG that will start once you have completed your studies at a SAICA-accredited university i.e., obtaining a CTA/PGDA qualification.
You will be required to submit the following documentation for a training contract:
- Proof of South African Citizenship (Certified ID copy)
- Full academic history
- Matric results
- Updated curriculum vitae
